The High Court on Monday discharged the full content of its decision in which BNP senior bad habit executive Tarique Rahman was imprisoned for a long time in a tax evasion case.
In its decision, a High Court seat of equity M Enayetur Rahim and equity Amir Hossain on 21 July scrapped the quittance of Bangladesh Patriot Party (BNP) senior bad habit administrator Tarique Rahman from tax evasion case and sentenced him to seven years of detainment alongside fine.
The counter join guard dog, Hostile to Debasement Commission, documented the body of evidence against Tarique and Mamun in October 2009 for redirecting cash to Singapore somewhere around 2003 and 2007.
Later in 2013, a Dhaka Court absolved Tarique and sentenced Mamun to seven years' detainment and fined him Tk 40 crore for the situation.
The ACC then recorded an advance with the High Court against the absolution and the HC sidelined scrapped the quittance.
The HC seat likewise maintained the discipline of Tarique's companion Giasuddin Al Mamun.
The 82-page full content of the decision has been discharged on Monday, said HC authorities.
