Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalithaa critical after cardiac arrest

Maharashtra Representative C Vidyasagar Rao, who has extra charge of the state, came back from Mumbai and went to the healing facility to enquire about her condition.

The 68-year-old Jayalalithaa was admitted to the healing center for treatment of fever and drying out on Sept 22. The specialists later said she required a more drawn out healing facility remain as she was experiencing contamination, and put her on respiratory support.
